The ICCE returns to Lisbon forty years after the 9 th ICCE (1964). Lisbon is a charming hodgepodge of time periods and cultures and one of the oldest cities in Europe. In 2004, it will also host the final stage of the European Football Championship, in June-July.

The conference will be held at the Congress Center of the National Civil Engineering LABORATORY (LNEC), an institution of science and technology created in 1946, which is proud of receiving you all. We have strived to design not only a technical programmer but also and a social  programmer and a collection of optional events that I am sure will please you most.
